Like someone, if they have parents that are paying their rent, they're gonna be saving a lot more money.

And there's just too many factors to compare yourself to others and their savings rate.

Another good question that came up is hi Sim, do you have any advice for anyone who wants to change careers but doesn't know what to do?

I wanna start off by saying first of all, I am like the queen of career transitions because I went from a career as a professional.

professional as an optometrist in a like just very different lifestyle, different type of skill set, different type of education, to becoming a business owner in the media and financial education space.

Two very different careers.

And I remember

When I was at university I had studied some like financial education papers and I had studied a marketing paper.

And I did that because I thought I was gonna be an optometrist that had her own clinic.

So I was like, I should learn marketing and I should learn, you know, finances to be good at being an optometrist business owner.

Obviously life completely changed.

It did not turn out that way.

And I'm glad it turned out the way that it did.

But my transition and the advice I give to people about a transition is one, it is never too late.

Like Chris Jenna started her career filming keeping up with the Kardashians when she was fifty two years old.

So let me be clear, it is never too late to change your career.

Number two, don't feel like you have to fall into

The sunken fallacy syndrome or sunken cost syndrome where you're like, oh my God, but I've spent like five years studying for this, or I've worked in this industry for 10 years.
