really well for themselves through business, through entrepreneurship.
I mean, I'm talking like net worths of fifty million plus.
And if I spend too much time with those friends, I love them to pieces.
They teach me so much.
But then that starts to warp what I think is normal.
Because if you hang out every single day with people that have at minimum like super successful businesses, you're
going to start thinking this is the norm.
This is how everyone lives.
And I promise you, the people that are listening that like live in Silicon Valley or live in New York or a part of like the startup scene, it becomes so
natural.
Like the words and numbers that are thrown around are so astronomically large, but they say them like they're just nothing.
They're like, oh yeah, like so and so just raised fifty million dollars at a three hundred million dollar valuation.
And younger me would have been like, wait, excuse me, like can we just can we just sit can we just sit with that for a second?
But
If you are in that environment, they just throw these numbers around all the time.
And I notice that if I'm around that too much,
It starts to warp my own perception.
I'm like, Oh my God, forensic investors not doing that.
