Oh, I've never seen this problem before because the people that might have solved it six years ago have gone.
Or that we don't have a policy to know what to do in exactly this situation.
And so everything starts from scratch.
Yes, and I want to focus on one thing.
Most people listening to this are going to think about the money, which we've talked about before, and this is a real issue.
That task has been outsourced, so now taxpayers are paying double for it.
But let me refocus this slightly because I actually recently wrote a paper on this following Doge in the U.S.,
The important thing here is that this lady said, yes, I will do this.
But imagine if she had said no.
This leaves us in a much more precarious situation because the one person who could do the job and knew that the job had to get done could just have walked away.
And that, you know, is actually a much worse situation than paying twice as much because you're losing more institutional memories.
So the next person that starts has to really start from scratch.
So forget about costs for a minute.
I want to focus on the fact that this is about more than just money.
And money is important.
But like this woman that said yes, thank God she said yes.
She could have said no.
And that, you know, she's doing Ireland a service, earning twice as much, sure.
But like, she could have walked away.
And this is the issue.
