They are rotting away.

But guess what?

132 buses are big.

These are big, big things that you have to put somewhere.

And guess what?

Space is expensive in Ireland.

So we are paying 7 million euros to park the 132 buses that we cannot use while we keep using the buses that we shouldn't be using anymore.

And actually, people will genuinely think I'm lying when I say this, but the last bus I got in Dublin went on fire.

And I had to get off it.

So, like, this is just incredible.

Yeah, so let's stick with public transport, which is what, you know, one of the things I really, really, really want Ireland to get right.

So we spent 50 million euros on some fancy new control system for our trains that was apparently going to help to control them all a bit better.

But we actually abandoned that project near the end because people realized, well, we don't actually know if the system is actually going to work or not.

So we've spent an additional 20 million euros to be able to keep using the old system because the new one that we had already paid for did not work.

So there's 70 million euros and nothing has changed.

Our system is still aging and getting worse.

Oh, this is a painful one because for many reasons, but the Arts Council were supposed to spend 3 million euros updating an IT system.

I mean, again, it's the Arts Council, right?

So I'm not sure how complex this IT system could possibly have been.
