I've been thinking about it recently.
I thought, that's what that dream was about.
That dream was telling me that something was going to happen to me.
My destiny was manifest.
And if I worked hard and just threw myself into it, maybe...
something would happen to me that would be different to everything that happened to my peers and my other brothers and sisters.
And it did happen.

So my mum backslid.
Because she got to England and this thing happened and there was lots of sadness and whatever.
And she didn't go to church for ages.
Mainly because there weren't really many churches to go to in the Midlands if you were black.
I mean, church, it was different to Jamaican church, which was...
Me glory, glory.
And she was a big woman.
And people going, get off me, woman.
And she's saved and she's got the spirit.
Black church is different to English church.
