I mean, they were kind of stuck, you know, Garland and Mobley to me, that was their young core.

And those guys have not developed in the way that I thought they would.

You make the Mitchell trade and you're really kind of hitting fast forward.

If you're Cleveland, you're feeling like everything's going to come together.

You have this dream season last year, but those two guys have just not gotten better enough.

Right.

Mobley's good, but he's not great.

Garland was good.

But he was a liability in a lot of situations, including last year's playoffs.

I thought it was a savvy trade because you don't want to, you know, the definition of insanity doing the same thing over and over again.

I think this exact same thing would have happened if they tried to run an injured Garland in the playoffs this year, they would have just probably gone down around two and everybody would have been, you know, screaming what's going on.
