The big takeaway from the trade deadline, though, and hopefully people understand this now, you're asking who improved the most.

The trade deadline used to be about buyers and sellers in terms of the good teams being buyers, bad teams being sellers.

That's how it's worked our entire lives.

These last couple of years, because of the second apron, it's not about good teams and bad teams anymore.

Literally, the Pacers, Wizards and Jazz got the best players at the deadline, which is just weird to see.

Things have completely flipped like the summer now.

Free agency isn't that big of a deal.
