It was changed, it was transformed.
Paul talks about this, like I said, in 1 Corinthians 15, and he talks about Jesus' resurrected body as the first fruits of the new creation, as the beginning of the resurrection that we will all someday experience.
And he says this: So it will be with the resurrection of the dead.
The body that is sown perishable is raised imperishable.
It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory, it is sown in
Power.
What differentiates resurrection from resuscitation is transformation.
To go even deeper.
The resurrection of Jesus was not just a sign of his divinity.
It was not just a sign of his victory over death.
It is all those things.
But in a theological sense, the resurrection of Jesus is the beginning of the new creation.
