But from my read of of uh what's been going on overnight, I think there are sort of three key key themes that have driven sentiment.

The sort of the first one is you've already mentioned that, the uh attacks on um some ships in and around

the Strait of Fumus, I'm sort of reading that there are three ships including a Qatari LNG carrier and a Saudi.

Hmm.

oil tanker which have both been um shot and that has driven um the oil price higher and I think those moves have have contributed to the upward pressure in in bond yields.

As you said, like I've got

uh Brent currently at at um US dollars seventy five a barrel and and WTI at around seventy two.

So they're both up around around five percent um over the past twenty four hours.

Uh I think one thing that might be capping the the rise in the the the um oil prices though was a report that came out by uh from the EIA overnight.

So it um it's reported that it's revised its its outlook for oil prices.

So they're now forecasting um Brent crude to average a level of around uh US dollar seventy four a barrel in Q three.

So it's currently around where it currently is, and then falling back to sixty five dollars a barrel in two thousand twenty seven.

So that forecast for two thousand twenty seven is well down on

its prior prediction of around um seventy nine or or eighty dollars a barrel for two thousand and twenty twenty seven.

Two.

So um and and driving that downward vision to their forecasts.

So our expectations that the global crude oil production and shipments will end up being close to pre war levels by the end of end of this year.

So yeah, maybe that's capped a little bit of the rise in oil, but that was sort of one of the the things
