So was was up four point one percent um in in the month of July.
Uh and that sort of rise in confidence levels was consistent with the the lower the lower fuel prices um and re reduced concerns about further further interest rate interest rate rises.
Yeah, from our BNZ colleagues, you know, their their takeaway from that survey was that the the um sort of one of strengthening inflationary pressures, which is uh was evident across both um cost and and pricing intentions.
Um so so that was the the the main the main takeaway from from that survey.
Yeah, so as you said, um, you know, uh Japan's um Katayama, um, from from the Moff, she did float the idea yesterday of adding government bonds to to tax free investment programs for for individuals.
Um
So, you know, this comes along her her comments that she made um last week around trying to encourage increased sort of asset allocation back towards um Japanese Japanese um assets.
So, you know, obviously she's she's trying to to um sort of sort of support yeah the sort of JGBs and and and the yen in in in those comments.
So but
Still just floating floating floating the idea.
Uh.
Nothing set in stone yet.

So, but as you said, a bit a bit of data coming out of China and Europe, you know, industrial production, I think, you know, focus will obviously be on US uh PPI data following um today's CPI.
Um so once that number comes out that'll obviously help people cement their PC forecasts and and obviously you've got the soccer feel to
