So it didn't shift the dial too much.
But yeah, obviously, as you said, a strong print, the outcome came in at the top of market expectations with the quarterly print rising by 1.5%.
And that had lifted the annual inflation up from 3.1% to 4.1%.
So obviously, we know that that print was sort of boosted by higher fuel prices.
I think if you exclude those, the inflation was at 2.9.
So it's still above target.
So not a great outcome.
And as I said, it's just sort of supporting that view that the RBNZ will need to deliver a rate hike at its September meeting.
You know, interesting, I guess, in terms of the flow of inflation prints that have been coming out, you know, the monthly prints for June, you know, have globally have been coming in on the softer side of expectations.
But obviously the Kiwi print is for the quarter, but it's a bit of an outlier coming in above expectations.

Yeah, no, definitely.
I mean, I think it's early days, Phil.
I mean, we can't ignore the fact that he did recently say he would be looking for flexibility in the rules that govern borrowing.
So can't ignore that he said that.
But for now, I think the concerns or investor concerns around what they will do on the spending have been alleviated a little bit.
And so you have seen that
through the GILT market.
GILTs did move higher in yield early on in the session, but they unwound that to remain largely unchanged on the day, but holding the self that we saw earlier in the week.
But you are correct that GILTs outperform the majors overnight.
