But I had no idea.
My parents didn't let me watch it.
My brother didn't watch it.
I had these kids that I babysat that had all the rings, all the action figures.
They were trying to teach me who people were, and they were trying to do moves on each other.
And I was just trying to make sure that they didn't kill themselves.
So that was like my extent of wrestling.
And then once I got the call that they were having me on the tryout, did my research and I was like, oh, this is sick.
Like, hell yeah, I want to go.
Like if I don't make it, that's a cool story to tell everyone.
But if I do, then hell yeah.
And so once I did the tryout and they had it was a mix of indie workers and athletes.
And at the end, they had the indie workers put on a little show.
They had some matches and stuff.
And that was the first time I'd ever seen wrestling live.
And I was like, wow, this is so cool.
This is what I get to do if I get the job and got the call.
And I was like, hell yeah.
If I would have seen it beforehand, it would have been a passion.
But I mean, I ended up here anyway, so.
