When you think about, like, Dan Housen, him coming in, him coming to the tip of every wrestling fan's tongue, and him being plastered everywhere here, SummerSlam weekend, I don't know if I've ever seen a rise like the rise of Dan Housen.
You know what, Dave... Dan Housen has such an effect on pro wrestling, and I'd like to pat myself on the back right now and say that I was there for it. I remember seeing him in the Carolinas about five years ago. He broke his ankle. He was destroyed, and he was talking about how, I'm going to come back, and I'm going to be better than I ever was. And here we are four years later, almost five years, and that dude, had a deal done with New York Knicks and WWE, two of the biggest sports entities in the world.
I mean, I got to talk to him briefly a couple weeks ago at SmackDown, and he was super excited to have his face on Madison Square Garden, you know, the mecca of pro wrestling. And he's been with the WWE for four and a half months. Cup of coffee. Yeah. Seriously, a cup of coffee, Bully. You're absolutely right. And he's everywhere, I'm sure. Night one and night two in here in Minnesota, we're going to see people with the Dan Housen mask or the makeup on or Dan Housen. It's everywhere.
Yeah, I can't wait for Halloween. Yeah. Think about how much money he's going to make from Dan Housen masks and capes and cha-ching.
We're here at the convention center. You walk in, there's the Dan Housen ice cream truck. There's a Dan Housen face painting station over there. His merchandise is everywhere at the SummerSlam booth, man.
I wonder if he'll un-curse Busted Open if Dave goes and does face paint. Hmm, maybe. Ooh, maybe for Halloween.
