I think it applies to almost everything.
And so in terms of the happiness research, can you do too much acts of kindness?
Absolutely.
You can be too kind to others.
You can neglect yourself.
You can do too little.
Almost everything should be done in moderation, including moderation, of course.
So that's how I think about things is sort of in the optimal dosage.
But sometimes you're talking about things that sometimes are in the same continuum, right?
It has to be in the same continuum, the same spectrum to figure out what the optimum dosage is.
The more I think about feeling loved and these mindsets, the more I think they apply to almost everything.
You know, like when you study something, you see it everywhere.
But seriously, like it applies to reducing polarization in our society, right?
When you're curious and really listening to people who are on the other side of the political spectrum, actually, research has shown it reduces prejudice.
It reduces differences.
And so I think out of everything I've talked about,
I think curiosity and listening are probably the two habits that can really change your life.
Like if we all became better listeners, more curious, research shows that if you're a leader or a manager or a supervisor, and if you're curious and really listening to your employees or your followers, they're going to be more productive, they're going to be more engaged, they're going to be less likely to quit.
Pretty amazing, right?
It's not that hard to implement.
