There were squash blossoms and green tomatoes and fruits and all the wonderful things.

And we just got everything that we thought was delicious.

We came home to her house, we cooked.

And we had this feast, just the two of us.

And it was such a memorable memory.

My friend is Emmeline, I should say, and we still are friends to this day.

So I'm like, I need to recreate this meal this summer because it actually was so perfect.

So the menu is fried green tomatoes, stuffed zucchini blossoms, a corn salad with tomatoes, avocado, and lime dressing.

And then an apricot cake for dessert.

I'll get into each of them.

First, starting with fried green tomatoes, which is actually something I haven't made in years.

Do you ever make it?

I I guess so, yeah.

And you always get a little bit better, but I think

What you're saying is so true that we're always looking for new and better and best.

And sometimes actually, especially on a hot day, especially in a busy season, relying on what is comfortable to you, especially when you're hosting, is more important than ever.

And if you loved it, probably someone else will love it.

Like Emmeline doesn't live in Portland and I'm not making this for her again, but I know I can make this for someone else.

And even though we won't have the same experience, I know it's a joyful menu.

And the fried green tomatoes, again, I haven't made it in a long time, and there's so many different ways.
