It makes it really more crisp than than that.

Also, I have found that if you can't find fresh okra, you can actually use frozen okra.

And so I think that if you're just like dying to try this combination, there's still options if you can't get it at your farmer's market.

I should have made it more clear because I wouldn't deep fry frozen okra.

You're absolutely right.

Deep frying should be for fresh okra.

But if you were gonna pan fry and char your okra, you could do it with frozen, and I think it would still taste good with this sauce.
