Like, you know, like we can still clean it.
Right.
You just would feel so embarrassed. You're like, oh, my God, I wasn't flirting.
Right.
Also, like, if it's your long-term boyfriend and best friend, like, say it out loud. It makes sense that your long-term boyfriend and best friend are friends and close.
And I feel like maybe this girl, someone said something to her, like they flirt, but it's like, I think I, something inside of me said, like, I just, maybe I just want to see the good, but something inside of me says it's projection.
Yeah. I have come to terms with the fact that I probably need to seek help for my OCD. I'm very overwhelmed. Do you have OCD?
Me too, really bad. That's why I went on Prozac, actually. I'm very overwhelmed with the idea of starting the process and wanted to know if you had any tips. I love that you're comfortable sharing your experience with the world. Dash Katie.
I think for OCD, OCD is so different for so many different people.
What really worked is starting meds and at the same exact time starting exposure therapy.
So it's like, okay. So like my OCD, like I really had rituals. So, so yeah. So it's like, yeah. Like, so like I had to like look at myself a certain amount of times in the mirror before I turned off the light. So like an exposure therapy would be like, cause this was during COVID, like having her on zoom and like,
turning off the lights without looking in the mirror and then like sitting there and that uncomfortableness, but also being on meds to like learn how to push away those thoughts. So like that for me was really helpful. I used to, I know this sounds so stupid. I used to have a lot of trouble adding songs to a playlist. Like I would have to do it four times over.
And it would drive me crazy because I'm very passionate about my playlist. So like one part of my exposure therapy would be just add the song and then sit there with it. And I just I think like finding a good exposure therapist and starting a medication that works for you personally for me.
I only knew I had it because I was I've had it since I was like seven or eight. Yeah. And I only knew I had it because I knew that there was this show on VH1. I don't know if anyone remembers. It was called OCD Rehab with Dr. Drew. And it was like celebrities with OCD would come. And I don't know if it was celebrities, but it was people with OCD would come.
and go through like this reality television rehab with their OCD. And I was like, Ooh, this sounds weirdly familiar. I think that's what I have.
And I was like, Oh, I have OCD. And then in the show girls on HBO, I don't know if.
Wait, that's my favorite show of all time. Uh,
They're great.
Did you, have you watched girl, have you done a rewatch yet of the show?
Um, what was the hardest for you? Like what was the, which one hit the hardest for you? Mine was like the first rewatch out of college.
