I'm much better off now.

I was anxious to get back into dating because I never really dated in my 20s.

I went right from college into this relationship.

And so over the summer, I was just having fun, not taking anything too seriously, really trying to learn more about myself through dating and what I like, what I don't like.

And so I met this guy on one of the apps.

We talked for like a little bit off and on before like we finally set a first date.

And when we did, the first date was awesome.

Like instant chemistry, great eye contact.

We aligned on like a lot of the same like core values, things like that.
