that there might be some players that could be better suited to develop as 19-year-olds in the American League.

And there's also, I think, an important structure around that where if it's not working out or if it's not the best suited place for them, they can send them back to junior.

And we continue to work with the NHL on that.

They've been fantastic partners and collaborative.

And they know that we are the best producer of talent for them.

And they've been very cautious about really unintended consequences.

Uh, should we go certain directions around what players could be eligible?

How many players could be eligible?

What does that do for the development pipeline?

Cause these 16 and 17 year olds in our league, they do rely on the older players and the more developed players.

You know, absolutely.

NHL players.

You know what I mean?

That would be ideal because I think that if you think about a player that would be one of the best in our league,

And if they were to get sent back after the trade deadline and they were on a non contender, I don't know that that's a great development experience.

Typically speaking, if you've got a high end player like that coming back from the world juniors and they're on a non contender, they're typically going to get traded to a contender to try and make a run in their final season in the league.

And so I think that would be our preference.

And I think, you know, what you're suggesting is where we would imagine a deal like this would land.

Well, I think we've always had a reputation for producing defensemen, and so no surprise to see some strong defensemen that are almost NHL-ready in a lot of cases.

I know that there's a journey ahead of all of these guys, but we continue to be a physical league, a tough league to play in, and we're unapologetic about the grind and the grit that's involved in playing in our league.
