And, you know, we're anticipating the best results in 25 years.

Well, you know, data points help everybody, right?

But at the same time, every player is a little different in his development journey.

And I think that the more players that leave at different ages and the more players that stay at different ages, like, you know, you look at some of the guys that stayed, whether it's Braden Kutz and what he ends up doing next year, whether it's Ben Kindle and the experience that he had this year, or you compare it to some of the guys who left,

And you try and say over, you know, a larger data set at different ages, what is the right place to be?

I think one of the things, if you had to ask me what might happen is people will start to ask, is it only about whether you can play at college or what versus whether you should play at college?

And I've probably mentioned this stat to you before, but eight captains in the National Hockey League this year came from the Dubb.

And I think that part of what makes you prepared to take on those types of leadership responsibilities is what happens when you're the veteran on the team.

So if you're a rookie and a second year guy, and then you move on before you're the guy that everybody looks to when the team runs into a little adversity, has to play in all situations, deals with seven game series and is the guy that might be playing 25 minutes a game.

I think that's the type of character building stuff that our league offers that prepares guys for the next level.

And so I think there'll be a little bit of leveling there where they're not racing.

They're not racing to get to whatever the next step might be because there's more data points that prove if you're measured in your development approach, all of the options remain open and available to you.

Whereas if you jump the gun and you leave early...

I've said this before.

I've never heard somebody say, I stayed in the Western Hockey League too long.

It really hurt me.

I've literally never heard anybody say that.

I don't know that there's anything I can share that you haven't already speculated or don't already know.

It's been made clear by the National Hockey League and the Players Association that there's an importance for the general managers to have some flexibility on where they assign players.

With players available to go to college, not stay in the CHL, I think that there's a rationale
