So it's kind of, and then you're tackling, it was pitch black, so not to drag it out, but arrived at the beach at 4.40 in the morning.

It's, everyone's sleeping.

It's dark, dark, no light of any kind.

Sand feels really cold.

I'm freezing in my wetsuit, which is unusual.

Normally you're kind of quite warm until you get in the water.

Felt cold going into the water, which, you know, again, just doesn't sit well.

Our driver had told us about an issue with rabid seals in the area and that they had attacked someone days before.

And he was like, it's probably not a problem.

Don't worry about it.

I was like, well, of course I'm worried about it.

Why would you tell me that?

And sure enough, I've been in the water for half an hour.

Seals start kind of diving over me.

And, you know, you can't see anything.

So I can feel these things in the water with me.

Don't know what it is.

So it was just generally a kind of pretty negative experience where your mind just floods full of dread and fear.
