If new information comes up, it can't pivot.

And in his speech, Walsh gave the example of twenty twenty-one inflation.

Prices, I mean, this was a time of so much uncertainty.

It was just impossible.

The Fed kept trying to give forward guidance the best it could, but who even knew what was happening at that moment.

At that time, prices were rising, and the Fed looked at the situation and was like, I think this is because of supply chain snags and all of this craziness.

I don't think there's an underlying inflation problem.

And it didn't it didn't raise rates.
