Well, that should be showing up in GDP numbers if that's true.

And the fact it wasn't really worried me.

It really seemed like a signal that things are slowing down.

So many mixed signals in the economy right now that it just seemed like the overall snapshot was just like not good.

That's why it worried me.

I mean, I think one of the things driving the slowdown is the uncertainty that we talked about around tariffs.

I think because it's not just tariffs.

There's a lot of uncertainty around policy right now.

The Trump administration likes kind of surprises much, I guess, like Kevin Warsh.

Kind of there's lots of unexpected things happening.

And I know that the markets hate uncertainty, but also businesses do not like it.

They don't feel comfortable.

I mean, if and you think about it as a person, too, if you don't know what's going to happen, there might be bad things on the horizon.

You save a little money.
