we're at and you know, the the team that we have to start the season, it's not gonna be the exact same team in the playoffs.
I mean we're gonna have some new players, whether they come through trade or free agent acquisition uh or like uh trade deadline acquisitions.
You know, we'll have to see how that shakes out.
Yeah, there's not just one way to do it.
I think the most tried and true way to build teams is through the draft, and there's nothing wrong with that approach, but it's not the only approach.
So I think we're taking a different look at it because we've got a team that we think is on the verge of greatness here, but...
So we're really looking for the here and now and you have to sacrifice the future sometimes.
But that doesn't mean you just give up on the future.
You have to do it a different way.
You have to find free agents, have to find undervalued players, maybe players that don't get as much exposure.
So that's where we're investing our resources that way.
Heavily in analytics to try to screen players and find maybe some overlooked aspects of players.
So there's a lot of different ways.
If you're not going to do it the traditional way of just stockpiling first round picks, that's a great approach too.
But there's a cost to doing that.
Your team usually struggles when that's happening.
You're trading away good players.
getting first-round picks that might help you down the road.
