But I think there's aspects of their game that you can um try to steal and then make your own.
I think uh Mike's explained how he wants to do that.
He's got some great ideas and I know but before we get to training camp the coaches are gonna be ready to roll.
Right.
I think uh you know, we intentionally wanted uh th this is sort of the ideal situation.
You can't always put yourself in this position because things change or you have players that are gonna get raises that you definitely need and sometimes your team is in a spot where you don't have much room.
That's how we've been operating.
The first two years um that I was here, you know, we had no space at all.
I mean, you're in L T I you have you're not a crew in cap space, you're
um very handcuffed as to what you can do.
Uh and it's tough because opportunities pop up every year during the year.
Um not sometimes it's not even broadcast.
Like but you talk to managers and there's players available.
But um and you probably don't even have to pay an asset price to get 'em but you gotta take the contract on.
And um we we just weren't set up to do that.
We were not in a position to if if a player
Comes available in November that makes two and a half million that you like, um, but they don't want they just trying to shed salary.
We were never even in the market for that.
It was impossible.
But now we we want to leave some money available so that we're not trying to just accrue cap space uh nauseum so that you can never spend it all, but I think that you have to have some flexibility and we've we've put ourselves in a good spot.
