So there's a lot of different ways.
Um if you're not gonna do it the traditional way of just uh stockpiling first round picks, um that's a great
approach too but um there's a cost to doing that you're your team usually struggles when when that's happening you're trading away good players getting first round picks that might help you down the road we've gone the other way we've been trying to acquire you know proven players and I think that's worked out well for us.
I like the way our team is shaping up for this season but we also have to have our eye on the future too.
You can't just you know say we're not going to worry about the future and we'll deal with it later.
Um we gotta try to deal with it now by investing in in Europe and free agent players and uh analytics and that's the approach we've taken.
Yeah, we've talked several times.
I talked to Mike, maybe not every day but cer multiple times a week.
Um and they've had some uh gatherings as a coaching staff.
Um they had one a week or two ago, they're having another one coming up.
I guess you could call it like a coaching summit where they bring in all their different ideas.
He has them working on projects to study what's working, what's not, um, you know, what's actually happening around
On the league.
I think it's good to sort of take stock of I don't and I think that's what I like about Mike.
He's certainly had a lot of success, um, but he's not wedded to just one way of playing.
He said, I I want to understand how what's working in 2026.
Let's take a look at the teams that are the most successful in all these different areas.
