And it's not like he's just an offensive weapon that you can't play, and you've got to be really careful when he's on the ice because, I mean, he plays huge minutes for us.
Like, he plays against the top players.
He kills penalties.
He does everything.
So I don't know what else you want from a defenseman.
I haven't been able to figure that out.
People that don't give him the recognition, they don't.
ever say what it is he should be doing differently.
Maybe you point to his turnovers occasionally, but he doesn't have any more turnovers than the other elite defensemen do.
They're all the same.
They all make so many plays, so they're going to have some that don't always go their way.
But he's incredible with his ability to find plays.
His patience, I think, is probably his best attribute.
And also, he's able to turn the page whenever something doesn't go well.
Doesn't impact him at all.
He just goes back to the next shift and starts making plays again.
So I think that's great.
And I think that's what makes him so good in the crunch time.
