So I started looking for a job.

I printed out the resumes and I went to Darling Harbor and I was giving, you know, resumes.

And I got a trial.

I went to, at the time it was King Street Brewhouse and they liked me and they offered me a job.

And I think there was $19.50 per hour, right?

And I'm sitting on the bench.

back home at the place where I rented at the time.

So I was sharing a room with a Lithuanian girl and I was living in the shared house with people from Thailand.

I was sitting in the bus and I was just thinking, how am I going to survive on $19.50 for a day?

I didn't realize it was an hour because in Lithuania, when I was leaving Lithuania, I worked last summer in a seaside little area in Lithuania a day.

I was getting 15 euro a day plus obviously the tips that you collect.

But the system is different there, right?

So you work for tips.

So my pay was $15 a day and here I got $19 an hour and I just, it took me a minute to connect the dots that it's one hour and if I'm working eight hours, it's going to be this much money.

And I just, yeah, like all these little things that I'm like, what I'm going to do?
