And we're not saying you can eliminate everything.

And some of that variation is patient factors that older p you know, we we had to adjust all of our complication rates because some you know older patients have higher uh rates of complications, people with diabetes have uh higher rates of complications and so on.

So about forty percent, depending on the procedure, about forty percent of the variation in complication rates.

is due to patient factors that the hospitals basically can't do anything about.

So I don't think there's been you know, obviously the privacy issues are really important.

Uh you you you cannot.

You know, you've got to be really careful about what you release.

And you know, we the A the Australian Bureau of Statistics have got procedures for that.

They they make sure you don't release anything with a smaller cell size than twenty or something.

So you you can't actually identify individuals.

You have to be careful about what size hospitals, what

what uh frequency of or what types of complication numbers you release and so on.

But uh you know, there are ways of handling all this.

And also, you know, in the United States they've been doing this for twenty five years for cardiac comp uh cardiac disease.
