That's life.
Mine were probably the BBC Two double bills that went out on a Saturday night.
BBC showed a Universal 1930s black and white film and then followed it up with a Hammer film.
And I was drawn into those.
The weird thing is, as you were saying, they went out really late.
So the films that I stayed up till 11 o'clock to watch are shown now at 11 o'clock in the morning.
Times have changed quite considerably.
And there was also on ITV, there was a series called Appointment with Fear, which went out at half past 10 on a Monday.
That was the strange thing.
Yeah, really.
And I got hooked on those.
I don't know why, but it's like, why do you like red and you don't like blue?
It's just endemic, I think.
Well, it was it was sort of horror adjacent, really.
It was a film called Dragonwig.
It was a sort of Jane Eyre type melodrama, really.
It was a sort of gothic melodrama.
It was an early role for Vincent Price, a sort of dry run for his Edgar Allan Poe pictures, really.
And the incandescent Jean Tierney.
And I had a VHS copy of this and I sent it through the private mail to her office.
