And I remember looking at payment companies, and like the bank was Goldman was obsessed with, you know, they loved business models where like you can scale revenue, make money on money type of thing.
And so I was like Googling all the names that you just walked us through, trying to remember if any of those were some of the companies that we looked at.
And so I want to zero in on the 18-month conversation.
Comment you made because 18 months does seem like the de facto like transformation timeline.
Like we need to do this in 18 months.
18 months isn't it's not less than a year.
So it's like psychologically feels like, okay, we got a little, a little more time, but it's not that much more than a year.
And you know, the joke was I remember with change, like, oh, we'll just hang out.
long enough and there will be another transformation.
Like we're not going to finish the last trans transformation before there's probably another one that we're going to need to look at.
And I also thought about one of the first things I had to do in my CIN and MA was like run an analysis on, you know, mergers and acquisitions, the like you know, the likelihood of success, or ac actually the opposite, the likelihood of failure.

Some shocking stat, it's like 80%, 80% plus of MA transactions fail because of the complexity.
Like there's just so much involved with a merger and acquisition.
And so you've been through a slew of these.
And so I want to just start like really high level, like in your mind, like what are the ingredients for like successful change in
in kind of this M and A environment.
Like like two, three, like what are kind of the the things that you really look at?
first when you assessing all right, do we have a shot at this or not?
