Now, you're probably still going to struggle to find a $192,000 property today, but there are more affordable properties and areas out there if you either live there or willing to go there.

So if you bought that property in 2015 and you've just told me it's mortgage free, you paid off the mortgage in 10 years.

How'd you go about doing that?

Yeah, and it was definitely a case of that.

So in terms of this timeline, you bought that first property in Invercargill.

You then moved to Auckland to buy the second property, which was your owner-occupier.

And I know that about a year into owning that second property, you renovated the kitchen.

Talk to us about that process.

It's amazing that you're 29 and have got two houses, one mortgage-free.

There aren't any other properties that we've missed, have there?
