philosophers or uh human beings.

uh whereas uh we all uh get by every day with perception and inference and testimony.

So so I I don't really want to talk a lot about analogy from the get-go, uh but uh emphasize rather that there are these three very uh what shall we say uh commonly supposed sources of knowledge

uh the book is divided in Sanskrit into not into three volumes but into four.

one for each of the pramana, one for each of the knowledge sources.

I'm not so sure that Gangesha is himself committed to analogy uh as a knowledge source because it gets very uh short uh treatment.
