One of the great joys of reading Sanskrit philosophy, as you know, is
Unlike English, you think you know, we're told that graduate school or even undergraduate that the metier of philosophy is argument, and we learn the structures of argument.
But I I have encountered no work in any Western philosophy from the Greeks through Kripke who have arguments so central to the way that a philosophical
philosophic text uh proceeds.
Everything has to be supported.
And so uh the genre of philosophy is one where you're always looking for the better reasons.
I should maybe use uh inference store.
I mean I think of i perception uh
testimony works better.
There's also a problem with the word perception, which is ambiguous but uh whether between the process and the result.
