That's a guy that some scouts thought were a first-round talent.
I was kind of on the fence there because it feels like maybe he's not consistent enough at 5-on-5, but the raw talent is there.
And in terms of like...
I always look back at my favorite performances from a prospect during their draft year, and Aaron Molson was basically the reason why Norway avoided relegation at the under-18s.
He had a hat-trick, I believe it was in the third period, and that was enough to get Norway to not get relegated.
So I think it's something where, you know...
solid draft i gave them an a i think you're going to be pretty happy if you're a canucks fan with that there's still a lot of work to do over the next couple years as this team gets back into contention but that's probably why we're talking about the 2027 draft today so uh it's uh they're focusing on that right away before we leave 2026 the beef do you think it was conscious or do you think it was just coincidental that they went so beefy and long with the draft class
Uh, you know what?
Yeah, it's, it's interesting.
They, they did not pick a single guy that I would want to take on in a fight.
So, uh, good for them.
It's a lot of, a lot of strength.
Brooks, he's not a mean dude, but man, I would not get into a corner of that guy.
He's going to put you through the glass.
So first off, I also have the 2028 draft rank.
You're not ranking, but a top 15 from that and not as much superstar skill.
I think 2027 is a little bit more fun right now.
Hold on a second, Steven.
I think so.
Also, like next week, I'll be watching some 29 and 30 draft guys.
