So, you know, it's it never ends this class.
It's the talent early on is so much more prominent than I think we like would remember like 10, 15 years ago.
I remember going I played in a ball hockey tournament where Connor McDavid was in and this was like a year or so before his draft.
And more people were interested in I think it was like one of the strong brothers.
More people wanted his autograph at this.
Not McDavid.
They didn't care about him.
This is before he got like superstar prospect status.
Now it's like Gavin McKenna's name.
Like I swear people knew his name when he was like three years old, basically.
Like it's been a long time that we heard Gavin McKenna's name.
Atlanta DuPont's kind of in that same way.
And when you look at what he's able to do, like he's definitely a significantly better player than Schaefer was at the same age.
But Schaefer is such an unusual talent where he was the first player off the board, obviously very good draft year, despite missing so much time.
I don't think anybody on the planet saw him becoming this good this quickly.
Like everything about it suggested it was going to take him a while to really get up to speed in the NHL and to watch him do what he did this year was insane.
I think DuPont with him, it's, you know, I think he's stronger.
I think he's a bit more skilled with the puck.
He's just a perfect modern day defenseman in the way that he just kind of controls the pace of play.
And you'll watch him with Everett this year, one of the top teams in the whole WHL.
