And there's a venture capital one, which gives a 10% tax break and capital gains tax free.

And they've remained so and actually expand a little bit, to be honest.

So it's actually quite good in all truth.

But other than that, if you're outside that, and they're pretty narrow definitions of early stage businesses and technology and innovation businesses as well.

You are sort of buggered, to be honest.

But so you have some tax breaks in Australia.

You have the R&D tax concession.

So you get a rebate back for money you spend doing innovative research and development, which is great.

They have something called Export Marketing Development Grant.

So if you market your business overseas, you can get money back out of Export Finance Australia.

I think it is one of the government agencies anyway for doing conferences overseas and other bits and pieces.

So it's actually a really good place to build capability, if you know what I mean.

So you can actually prototype, do the early stage stuff here.

But then if you're popular in the market, like a European market.

Well, they just want your profits then, don't they?

yeah but then but then at that point in time like you'd probably consider picking up and moving i mean you know atlassian's the poster child for example see that's but that's a problem right yeah i'll give you a few examples i mean there's some good companies and bad companies that license opposed to child for this place that they they configure themselves what do they do uh they make uh they make productivity software so scott kennan brooks mike farquhar did you say mike ken and brooks i don't like that guy i don't like that he's polarizing

But, you know, successful software company, right?
