You know, it's a piece that comes back in the ICL trade.
For a while there, it felt like it was a it was a dud piece.
Like, what are we doing here?
He's not really contributing.
And this past year, I can't even say that he carved out a role for himself because he didn't.
The guy played wherever the fuck they needed him, whether that was top line producing, fourth line, and you know, it's a just kind of a dream player.
And four and a half is is not a lot of money, especially with what the cap's going to be going up to.
Year.
You know, he's a small percentage of the salary cap for a guy that you could literally plug in to play first line wing.
Or fourth line wing.
And, you know, one of the things that we said might have been what made him not want to be here is if he didn't want to be moved up and down the lineup.
Well, now guess what?
He's here for four years and he's gonna get plugged into the lineup wherever Lindy puts him.
And you know, it's hard to find a guy that can be effective as a fourth line dump and chase guy and effective at finishing a play that Tage Thompson passes in the puck.
So uh it's a uh literally a fine contract.
Am I upset at the term?
