Well, you know, the thing is this young man has never seen this kind of pitching.
You know, he saw a little, maybe a sampling in spring training.
But it's serious now.
And, you know, you don't know what to expect.
You know, he could start ripping the cover off the baseball, but nobody knows.
So that's why we're going to the ballpark or listening on the radio or watching on TV because we're excited for this kid.
The only thing missing about this whole scenario is if Paul Skees was starting today.
That would be quite a combination.
But a lot of the big eyes all around baseball are going to be on Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania this afternoon because everybody knows this could be a generational talent, and you want to get that first look at them.
So the excitement is there.
The anticipation is there.
If he goes 0 for 4, I don't think it's going to diminish the excitement because he's seeing tough stuff for the first time.
And the excitement level, you know, they say he's a very mature kid.
I don't care.
When you go out after the anthem to play your first major league game,
In West Virginia, not in California.
That guy's the greatest.
He's Mr. Pittsburgh.
