Well, yeah, he has said, hasn't he, because over Easter he was quite clear, he said...
We decided before Easter we weren't going to play him with two games in four days and they didn't do that.
I think he came on quite late at Norwich, didn't he?
And then obviously played the full 90 minutes against Oxford.
It sounds like he's thinking the same for the Middlesbrough Ipswich games, which are the same distance apart, aren't they?
You've got Middlesbrough Saturday.
Ipswich Tuesday I don't know sorry all sorts of noises happening here makes you sound like you're AI I'm not I'm a real person I promise I'll prove it if I can yeah I mean he looked pretty fit didn't he against Oxford didn't look as though he had any problems he's given an interview that I've seen the news have run in the last day or two saying he feels fine
uh he hasn't said he hasn't exactly said i want to play every game sorry i don't know what the noises are there apologize for those um he's he's said he's been quite diplomatic he has said i feel okay i feel fit i want to get back to normal but he hasn't actually said i don't think he has said to the manager you must play me in every game i think he realizes why they're being cautious he probably wants to be a little bit cautious himself
So he'll go along with the manager's plan.
So I think if the manager is thinking of playing him only at Middlesbrough or home to Ipswich, I think he's probably more likely to leave him out of Middlesbrough and pitch him in against Ipswich.
They're two games against promotion-seeking teams, aren't they?
It's not like one is a...
is an easier game against a mid-table team or something.
They're both hard, but I don't think we'll see surety in both.
But you've got other options at the back.
You've got DR, you've got Boett,
you've got fewer options if the Ogilvy ban is still in place because he is somebody else who could move over but obviously if he's banned he's not going to play anywhere so I would think we'll probably see Paul and DR against Middlesbrough and then Shaughnessy come back in for Ipswich and maybe at that point Shaughnessy will then be okay for the last what would it be five games hmm
I'll tell you somebody who I still think we might see before the end of the season, and it might even only be in the last game if we need to win.
