Tempted to tap him on the shoulder and say, Mike, can we swap seats so that I can see better?
Yeah, I bet he wished he'd had one.
There we go.
I'm sure he can afford one.
yeah the taking of the knee from the start it caused a bit of division didn't it because there were well I think when it started teams were playing behind closed doors I seem to remember it was in the Covid era
so they could take the knee and no one would be able to express any view on it.
But as soon as crowds came back and there were teams taking the knee, which I think originally started out as support for the Black Lives Matter campaign, there were sections of fans who didn't think, for whatever reason, footballers should be doing that and let their feelings known.
But like everything, you know, like Arsenal's all white, these things run their course, don't they?
And people move on to another way of showing things and another campaign.
Yes I do actually because it worked perfectly well I think from memory.
It probably did favour some and not others but I don't know.
And you don't have all this.
Now we have the two transfer windows.
the summer one and the January one, there is so much focus on those when they come along, and before they come along, as we know.
We start talking about the January one in about October, don't we?
And it just puts... I just think it's a bit of an...
an unbalanced market really it makes teams make changes to their squad because everybody else is at the same time when they sometimes they don't need to or sometimes they wouldn't want to it sort of skews things I think I seem to remember that you used to be able to buy and sell if you're in the football league you used to be able to buy and sell but then there was a transfer deadline around the end of March you couldn't bring anybody in after that that's right
and then you could start again in the summer.
And from what I remember, that worked okay.
