And this one was arson.
Right.
But they got serious about forestry management in the state of Florida.
And then also serious about fire response.
Because even if you do properly manage the forest and trim them properly, inevitably there are still going to be some fires.
So you have to have that emergency response ready.
Of course.
And guess what?
Governor DeSantis's Florida does that.
They do it so well that it never even makes the news, Drew.
In other words, small fire starts up, fire put out, no story, right?
That doesn't happen in California.
And it certainly didn't happen with Altadena and the Palisades.
The biggest reason, because the reservoirs were dry.
Because the Santa Ynez Reservoir specifically, which is massive and is intended exactly for the Palisades and exactly for a time like that, they knew, Gavin Newsom and anybody with a brain in California knew, drought conditions, the Santa Ana winds, which are as predictable as could be, so the Santa Ana winds flaring up, they knew that it was a tinderbox and you need to be extra ready.
Instead of being ready, the reservoir was dry and there was literally no water for the firefighters.
no water at all they had to simply watch thousands and thousands of homes burned to the ground so in the first place the fire should be preventable and by the way gavin newsom lies constantly and blames climate change uh for the forest fires in and then the fires it problems in california that is ludicrous as a matter of fact in one of my other documentaries i show a chart on forest fires globally and the chart
