So he was in love with America, in love with mom.
And literally the day he was allowed back, because he kept reapplying, the day he was allowed back, he was back.
Um and never left again.
And you know, he became an American citizen himself and had six children, one of which is me.
No.
Uh and by the way, my father, uh, has been deceased for a long time, but uh and he wasn't particularly political.
But when he would talk about illegal migration, holy cow, did it get him hot and angry because he knew how hard it was and how hard it was for him.
You know how hard it.
He wanted to be here.
He had a girlfriend that he wanted to marry.
And but he was respecting the rules of this country and Americans, and he believed Americans had every right to determine how people come in.
And thankfully, in that case, you know, they did the right thing.
They selected a guy, Alfonso Cortez, who loved this country.
was incredibly productive, produced a large American family with an American woman, and you know, they couldn't have gotten sort of a a better return on investment, as it were, by letting him in.
And there's a lot of those stories, of course.
And I think we can get back to those stories, but I think we should take a break first.

And because we're not doing it right at at present.
And and the worst example of that maybe is what's going on in Lewiston, Maine.
