And you'll probably be shocked, frankly, because you know when
Most people think of Maine, they think of lobster, they think of the North Woods, and they think of hardy, self-sufficient New Englanders, and all of that is true, and all of that is absolutely there and part of what defines Maine.
But unfortunately,
There's a very new insidious element to Maine, and that is mass migration, which has come to even small town Maine, and particularly Lewiston, which is where we shot that.
And by the way, I want to right away acknowledge Steve Robinson, who you saw there.
He is the star of this documentary.
It's not Steve Cortez, it's Steve Robinson who runs the Maine Wire, which is an outstanding, independent journalistic operation.
And they have been exposing so much of the abuses of the citizens.
Of Maine and so many of the frauds, the systemic frauds that are being perpetrated against the citizens of this country, but particularly there in Lewiston, Maine, overwhelmingly by Somali migrants.
It's a smaller version of what's going on in Minnesota.
So it's not quite into the billions and billions of dollars of scale of what the Ilhan Omar crowd is doing in the Twin Cities.
But it's still just as awful, just as criminal, just as unjust.
And because
Maine is a much smaller state, unlike Minnesota, they don't have the financial wherewithal to deal with a scam at this scale.
We're talking about hundreds of millions of dollars being stolen, primarily through healthcare scams.
It's mostly through Medicare, Medicaid abuse, just like they're doing in the Twin Cities.
And the Somali migrant crowd, unfortunately, really excels at this kind of a scam.
Most of the money, by the way, it's not, you know, of course, they're using an
Enjoying some of the ill gotten games there in Maine, but most of it is not really for them on the ground in Maine.
Most of it is going back to Somalia.
