Remittances for some of these countries, Rwanda is the same now.
Remittances from the United States, stolen remittances, right?

Stolen remittances have become the number one source of revenue to these failed countries, to these countries that don't have real industries and real businesses.
The business effectively of the country now is get your people, get your diaspora into the United States, engage in systemic levels of scamming.
And funnel that money back home.
And in the case of Somalia, what's it going to back home in Somalia mostly to a civil war.
So believe it or not, the working class citizens of Maine, who right now are having a hard time affording their life, they are funding a civil war in a place called Jubaland, which most Americans have never heard of.
I didn't before I started doing research for this doc.
It's a semi-autonomous state in the south of Somalia, and they are at war.
more effectively with Mogan Dishu, that war being largely funded by Maine.
Believe it or not, being, you know, by loggers in Maine funding.
So I I want to shine a light on this.
I also went there.

I went there because there is a Senate election in Maine.
Uh, and by the way, some of us, you know, who consider ourselves pretty right wing, we may not be the biggest fans of Susan Collins, but holy cow, she has to win this election because she is literally facing America hating communists who will only make this situation worse.
