They're the strongest contenders, I'd say, for... Pubs of stature, physical and... So the Princess Louise is one of those.
Liverpool's got 20 great ones you could reel off in five minutes.
Not necessarily all, because we've discussed...
authenticity or the genuine old stuff that was in there is overrated.
Probably the Princess Louise, quite a lot of that is 1970s.
Some of the inlaid mirrors and things like that will have been replaced or at least repaired.
Yeah, in the spirit of it.
You know, the Philharmonic's had a recent refurb, but it's still the Philharmonic.
And the Vines, we know, has had refurb that stripped it back to what it was to a certain extent.
But pubs go through iterations, don't they?
The great ones stand the test of time.
And the best thing about Liverpool is for about 20 years now, really, the city centre pubs have pretty much stayed the same.
You know, if we talked about ones that we first drank in when we knew each other.
The ones that haven't are the bars.

They're much more short-lived.
It takes a lot to... As much as pubs closing is obviously a big issue and a thing that we'll talk about a lot over time, to sort of pull those teeth out of the city is really hard at times because they're so well-rooted.
And Liverpool, I think, Liverpool, Edinburgh, two cities where it feels like that.
It's almost inconceivable you could go to Edinburgh next year and Sandy Bells won't be there or...
The Bobar won't be there.
