I think that, so first off, I grew up in Northern
northern New Jersey, right?
So, like, some of my earliest memories were going into New York City in the late 70s.
And, you know, you remember that.
Like, if you went into New York City, like, through the tunnels, you know, it was a holy shit place, right?
These were, like, the escape from New York days.
Really starting with David Dinkins, Giuliani years, with the Bloomberg years,
You had, I get the criticisms, but you had a highly functioning city.
And so in 2024, the National Democratic Party lost an election to Donald Trump.
This is the biggest city in the country.
that exists in a democratic party is the anti-Semitic socialist or the disgraced former governor routinely described as a bully and a thug who's been around forever.
And so I just think that like Donald Trump dances for joy and
when he sees evidence that Democrats just can't get it together, right?
That when you think about all the talent in New York city, like this is, this is the choice.
And, and there's going to be an implication for Democrats for either way that this goes, that these guys have high profile face of the party jobs and,
It just makes it difficult for people in the middle of the country to look at the Democratic Party and even give it a second look, which is a problem.
Because unless the Democratic Party gets a second look, right, we may be looking at a last look of American democracy.
Right.
So it worries me in that in that regard.
