There were no publications when she started.

And then one has come out that she got scooped.

We got scooped, basically.

But yeah, she's doing some good work.

Uh, she's trying to explain it in terms of, of a mate choice.

She's predicting that because women on average are choosier, women are more prone to the egg, which is, I don't think anyone would disagree with that intuition.

And we've now got good evidence that that's the case.

Um, yeah.

Uh, and she's looking at it in terms of evolved disgust reactions.

Uh, yeah, it is interesting.

And so looking at it in terms of, um,

Behavioral immune system.

Yeah, behavioral immune system and evolved disgust reactions in response to sexual stimuli, to sort of stuff that's gross associated with disease and the like, and moral disgust as well.

I can't see that going in the other direction as much.

I can't see.

Oh, my missus missed a turn in the car.

It's one of the key ideas in my book, yeah.

And I think the average number of sexual partners that men have, if you exclude sex workers and the like, is somewhat higher.

But I do think it's a very important point that, yeah, among the guys who are having sex with lots of women, generally having sex with the women who are having sex with lots of guys.

I'm not sure, because I think if that were the case, then women wouldn't be so keen on the idea.
