And both being young pitchers at this point, I think when left with the option, the Sox went to Castillo.

They went and acquired him.

They paid a little bit of money to get him.

And I think they feel more comfortable with a veteran going down the stretch in these critical games.

And these two young guys coming in in situations where they can be effective and

and where they can show what they can do.

I think they both have very good stuff.

I think Tanner McDougal throws a bit harder.

So their future will lie in their success in doing what they're doing at this point.

We'll see what happens next year.

But I like the stuff of both of these pitchers, and eventually we're going to see McDougal, and most likely, I would assume, tonight.

I think it was wonderful and well-deserved.

I mean, you have a guy that's beloved by the fans and who's done everything for the White Sox.

I mean, you look at his career, and I think Ozzie is the type of player who had to get every bit of his ability out of that on an everyday basis.

He doesn't and didn't have Bobby Witt's talent.

Not many people do.

And so when you're that kind of player, you've got to bear down on a daily basis.

Ozzie was able to do that, plus he really understands the game very well.

Now you add, you fast forward to a guy who managed this team to a World Series championship and a guy now doing television, both pre and post.

I think he deserves having number 13 retired.
