There's just guys understanding that
They're not the most talented team around.
I mean, Atlanta's more talented.
Certainly the Yankees are more talented, and the Dodgers, we know, are supremely talented.
But this team believes, although they might be able to not be in their same division with those three teams and win the division, in a short series they can beat anybody, and they're playing like it.
So, look, the test is coming.
After these two games here, we go to Philadelphia and then start the Atlanta and the Dodgers and the Yankees portion of this schedule.
Well, that's the radical departure from years past where you're looking around going, who in the world can go to the All-Star game?
I mean, you're looking for a guy that has two or three good games.
Okay, well, maybe that guy.
But this year, I don't think there's any end to the candidates.
I think Munez still has a chance to go.
I think they would kind of like to have him representing.
I don't believe that he's going to be able to play because hamstrings are really tricky.
And we've seen with Kyle Thiel that they take a while.
And if you rush a guy back or he rushes himself back, you have a setback.
And then at this point, you know, Thiel hasn't swung the bat at all this year.
As far as the other candidates, Vargas to me is a candidate.
He's got 15 home runs already.
Who knows how many he's going to have before the game.
